How many photographs will be in the show?
450 – 500
How many of the photographs featured in the show were in the open call?
Approximately 10% of the photographs will be from the open call.
How many photographs are submitted by each invited photographer?
Photographers can submit up to 2 photographs.
What size are the photographs?
Each photograph will be a postcard sized (10x15cm, or 10x10cm for square images) edition of one and will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. They will be printed as Giclée Hahnemühle Pearl by Genesis Imaging and mounted by A.Bliss.
How does the ‘secret’ element work?
All the photographs can be seen on our website. A list of the contributors’ names will be circulated before the sale, but the work will be anonymous until Photo London has ended. A list of the contributing photographers can be seen HERE.
Where can I see the photographs ahead of Photo London?
All of the photographs can be seen on our website HERE along with their title and assigned Photo Postcard number.
Where will they be exhibited?
The photographs will be on show at Photo London, Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA on 17 – 20 May 2018 with an invitation only Preview on Wednesday 16 May.
How do I register for a buyer’s ID?
To purchase a Photo Postcard you must pre-register on our website HERE. Once registered you will be emailed your unique buyer’s ID. You must have a copy of this ID with you at Photo London to make a purchase. Please note that registering for a Buyer's ID will not guarantee you a Photo Postcard as they are sold on a first come first served basis.
Is there a limit to how many Photo Postcards I can buy?
Each customer can purchase up to four Photo Postcards.
Must I buy a ticket for Photo London if I have a buyer’s ID?
As we are part of Photo London everyone is required to buy a ticket for the event in order to view and buy a Photo Postcard.
How will I know if a Photo Postcard has already sold?
Sold Photo Postcards will be indicated by a red dot on our website.
Can I queue overnight before Photo London opens?
Unfortunately overnight queuing is prohibited.
Can I take home my purchased photograph(s) from Photo London?
All photographs will be posted from our office following the close of Photo London. When purchasing your photograph(s) you will automatically be charged an additional £5.00 postage and packaging fee which covers tracked Royal Mail postage and insures the parcel up to £100.00. Once posted you will receive an automated email with the tracking information. Due to the high volume of images being sent out please allow up to two weeks to receive this email.
When will I know which photographer produced which image?
Following the end of Photo London we will release a list on our website linking each photographer to their work. To be one of the first to know sign up to our mailing list HERE.
Can I swap my Photo Postcard?
Unfortunately we cannot exchange one Photo Postcard for another.
