Botond Keresztesi is a contemporary painter whose work esplores the perception of the internet influenced contemporary visual culture mixed with pop cultural or art historical references, reflecting on history and culture in general. He mainly focusing on painting and classical materials like oil ,mixed with acrylic or less traditional ones like airbrush or spraypaint

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

I chose the light bulb as a main motive as a metaphor of artificial light like the international symbol of heureka. The symbol of lost innocence and lost the paradise for all human beings.
