About
Cecilia Granara was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1991. Of Italian nationality, she grew up in Mexico City, Rome, Chicago.
She is a painter and a writer, drawing on self-fiction, poetry, and symbolic iconography. She is interested in cultural attitudes to sexuality, bodies and the use of color as a vehicle for emotions.

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
This piece is the original drawing for my tarot card deck, four of cups. Cups are the suit of emotions and I wanted to represent the movement and flow of liquid transferring from one cup to another , almost like a fountain. The idea is to look at it and imagine that our emotions are not stuck, that they flow infinitely.
