ARTIST INFO
About
Walter & Zoniel work within the mediums of installation, sculpture, photographic process, film and performance. MTArt Agency represents the duo globally. Focusing upon visually charming and enticing the viewer into thought and momentary transcendence, their work centres around the human condition viewed through the themes of our interconnectedness within the cosmos, nature and humankind, evoking a relationship and questioning between all the elements involved.
Walter & Zoniel have a track record of creating powerful, interactive
site-specific and multi-location installations. The artists are strong
believer's in art being for and accessible to, everyone. They have a
successful history of creating public beautiful installations in unusual
areas internationally during biennials or art fairs.
They believe in the wealth of being human, in the wealth of
connection to the sublime, and the potential to experience this through
everyday access points.
They believe that art is for everyone.
They use simplistically as a powerful means of play, beauty and surrealism
to evoke joy. They believe in the power of ease. Their presenting of
easy and immediately enticing access points to their artwork allows
people to engage more deeply. By creating simplicity, and meeting the
viewer on playful terms, much deeper meanings and concepts can be
presented, explored and unfolded as each individuals’ pace or desire.
They believe that art can empower and inspire us all. This is the bar
they set themselves with everything that they create.
