About the postcard artworks

Cotton thread is hand stitched onto cotton canvas. No preparatory marks are made beforehand, resulting in surface patterns and shapes that form naturally by the interaction of the repeated accumulation of the materials. The flow of stitches distorts and undulates, dictating how the work progresses and contributes to the almost iridescent way light is reflected from the final surface.
