About

I work across multiple mediums, mainly painting, drawing and filmmaking. My paintings contest dominant power structures and celebrate female desire through queer retellings of mythical narratives. I am especially fascinated by origin myths – ideas of primordial chaos, and narratives of separation and becoming. Among the themes I work with are the performativity of the queer body, the fusion of science and magic, and the environmental crisis as an existential state.
