Mia Risberg is a visual artist based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, painting and drawing in a variety of mediums. Born in Sweden, she spent her childhood often moving and living in various countries before settling in the United States as a young adult. Her work depicts people, places, and moments, and reflects an interest in ambiguous narratives. She has exhibited at various venues in the U.S, and curated contemporary art exhibits for the Rasa Festival, a yearly multi-disciplinary festival.

About the postcard artworks 

These paintings reflect my interest in capturing and depicting moments and memories. Childhood ones when the world holds magic, but can also be complicated or multifaceted, are particularly intriguing to me.
