About
Kate Mary (b.1992) is an artist living and working in Glasgow, Scotland. Her practice consists of largely two-dimensional drawings and paintings in oil pastel. Trained as an interior designer, Mary uses this creative lens to depict intimate renderings of domestic scenes and moments. Through enhancing motifs, playing with scale, celebrating colour, and intensifying light and shadow, her works become striking, atmospheric depictions of her memories.
