Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

King Dick is one of the first pieces of Staffordshire I found smashed in an auction house. I restored the original form and as with all my “brokens “where it is broken, dictates what I can do. The original moulding under his legs was just so, I often wonder if the overworked potters had private jokes when making work in the potteries. We all know a King Dick, there are many political figures at the moment who are.
I have recently started work on a new series of polemic prints, small woodcuts with a knee-jerk expressive narrative. So, this first offering its just Tits, sex always sells.
