Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

The works reflect on the power of mythology, by reimaging and shaping identity to ultimately create new narratives that speak on the consciousness of being mixed black. Creating an ethereal world that exhibits black womanhood and the nuance of the multiplicities of personal and cultural histories.
