Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
My work deals with the complex experience of girlhood, exploring adolescent anxiety, feminine identity, and belonging. This piece for AOAP, titled “Cat Nap”, depicts an overhead view of two girls lying near one another on the carpeted floor, unbothered by notions of formality or decorum, capturing a moment of serenity and friendship.
