Kate's drawings and paintings have been widely exhibited - RA, RWA, Jerwood Drawing; solo exhibitions at Newlyn Art Gallery, Dean Clough, Arusha and Millennium (now Anima Mundi). Two volumes of her writing were published as Iona Notebooks (2017) and Shetland Notebooks (2019), both by Guillemot Press. She has trained in classical shamanism for many years (Native American and northern European) and practices her ‘hollow bone’ diagnostic co-creating performance widely. Her inspirations come from sacred music, wild places, mountains and the inner patterns found in nature. She received funding support from Arts Council England in 2004 and 2007. Kate is based in Cornwall.
