Harriet Mena Hill was born in London in 1966. She attended Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts for her Foundation (1984 – 1985) and her BA Hons in Painting (1986 – 1989). Hill has had solo exhibitions including the Fine Art Society, London (1996); Eagle Gallery, London (2008), the Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh (2000) and her most recent exhibition At the Still Point Eagle Gallery (2014).

Her work has been included in over 30 group exhibitions in the UK and internationally since 1989. She was an Evening Standard New Discovery Art prizewinner in 1991, and in 1996 was awarded a Ballinglen Arts Foundation Residency in Ireland.

Hill’s work is held in private and public collections including The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation; the Government Art Collection; New Hall College, Cambridge and St Johns College, Oxford. In 2012 she was invited to create an installation of her paintings in the Chapter House of Worcester Cathedral.
