Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
These postcards are from a recent series of paintings and drawings called ‘Microcosm’. The work was inspired by tiny paper sculptures made by my 8-year-old daughter. I have always been interested in the idea of ‘miniatures’ as stages for the imagination or as alternative ways of communicating our own sense of being in the world.
