Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork   

 

I visited the fishing village of Mamallapuram, South India. It was during the New Year festival of Pongal and there were crowds of people on the beach, paddling in the surf while they waited for the full moon to rise in the sky against the backdrop of ancient seashore temples.
