Lucas Dupuy’s work is multi-layered, ambient and cerebral. Touching on subjects as varied as video games, natural landscapes, and semiotics, Dupuy brings together painting, sound and sculpture. He has developed a distinctive artistic language that aims to find an intersection between both language and form, and in making things that bridge these elements. There is an evident influence of the monumental dynamic materials and constructs of Brutalist architecture of the 20th century in his paintings and drawings, which informs the relationship between perspective, composition and structure.

Please do not bid on artwork in our Art on a Postcard auctions if you intend on selling the artwork after you have purchased it. This auction has been organised for charity; all artworks have been generously donated by the artists to raise money for charity. When a work is sold on the secondary market it damages our relationship with the artist and prevents us from fundraising.
