Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
An obscure room with an obscured view of a landscape with a tree in the foreground. The work is painted in Acrylic & Oil. Many layers of pigment and glazes are applied over the painted image to create a separateness and meditative quality. The liminality of such a space devoid of a human presence looks familiar as all rooms with a view do. As the world turns, we view an interior a memory a still space while the world is at war.
