About the postcard artwork
All my work comes from the landscape and the feelings it evokes in me. A tiny road by our house, Mill Lane, leads to the creek. Up on the flood bank you can see swathe of reeds. Buzzards fly overhead. In summer you can't walk this path, so dense are the reeds. But in winter I love the bare stems that tower over me. Teasels stand amongst them and here and there, the tracks of deer and muntjac and the paths they have made. This landscape feels a part of me and I'm grateful for it.
