|Rosalind Hobley is an artist using the 19th Century photographic method of Cyanotype printing.|
She studied sculpture at Maidstone College of Art, and her prints of portraits, swimmers and still lifes still have a sculptural feel.
Her influences range from Renaissance artists through to Giacometti, Mapplethorpe, Jenny Saville and Duane Michals.
She likes the painterly and poetic feel of the alternative printing processes. She originally planned to use Cyanotype to learn the basics before graduating to Platinum and Palladium printing but somewhere along the line fell in love with the blue colour of these prints.
