Carol Hodder investigates experiences of transient senses of light, memory and place, with expressive semi-abstract painting. A self-taught artist, she has shown widely around Ireland and also at the Royal Academy in London.
In 2015 she won the Republic of Ireland award for the UK’s National Open Art Exhibition, and in 2017 she was invited by Dr Nicholas Fox Weber to undertake a two month Artist in Residency at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Connecticut USA, which was grant aided by the Arts Council of Ireland.
