About
Margaux Carpentier (born in France in 1987) is an artist, illustrator, and printmaker. Her work depicts feelings and bodily sensations using bold colours and symbolism. By making images, she wishes to tell stories and attempt to stop time whilst shaping movement. She explores the hidden energies from the world and the depth of the self. Using an archetypal symbolic language, she wishes to create a space in which the viewer is free to think and feel in accordance with their own experience and sensibilities.

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
Using the fluidity of ink, this little series explores the rawness of feelings travelling across the body. These drawings talk of head, heart, guts, and the organic matter we are all made of.
