About

Born in 1969 in London, Natasha Michaels is an accomplished artist who honed her craft through a comprehensive education in communication design at St Martins College of Art and a specialization in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, London. Her artwork has earned its place in both private collections and esteemed museum holdings.

Throughout her career, Natasha has garnered prestigious commissions from renowned entities such as Penguin Books, Vintage, Random House, The Guardian, and Blue Source, showcasing the high regard in which her illustrations are held.

Currently, Natasha resides and creates her art in the vibrant city of London. Her distinctive artistic process involves the meticulous use of printmaking techniques. Working within an etching studio, she employs a monoprint method wherein each silhouette is painstakingly carved from aluminium plates, subsequently inked or painted, and then passed through an etching press. This unique print process contributes to the exceptional and captivating texture that defines her work.
