ARTIST INFO
About
I am a Sheffield based artist whose work is inspired by urban landscape, particularly marginalised spaces and Brutalist architecture. Much of my work explores social housing estates that are soon to be demolished or repurposed for a different demographic than was originally intended.
The physicality of paint and surface texture are important elements in my work and with this in mind, I usually work with materials that have a direct connection to the sites I depict usually concrete which I cast into tiles to paint on directly with spray paint (referencing graffiti).
