Mixed Waterbased Media on Paper

Kate Scott is a UK contemporary painter, brought up on Brighton, she studied fine Art Painting BA in London and went on to an Ma in printmaking in Brighton.
Kate’s work concerns the relationship between space and solidity, the conscious and the unconscious, she uses raw colour and gesture to both express and explore illusions of light and depth, and to convey a sense of personal memory, mood and emotion.
She is often inspired viscerally by music and the elements as she progresses, and seeks to crystallize and recall the intangible sense of a particular space in time.

Kate’s work is in private collections in the UK and abroad.
