Painting and drawing are my main medium, with a subtle minimalistic approach. These planned works are a response to the surrounding environment by using everyday experiences as a starting point. Most material is contesting the division between the realms of memory, emotions and experiences. A personal follow up of a dairy of the past. These subjects are in a multi-layered, the work doesn’t reference a full recognisable form. The results are deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and possible multifaceted. A colour pallet that doesn’t resemble reality more of a reaction to a tonal vibration, this resonates with random mechanical textured marks, leaving an abstract tone to the image. These mixed media artworks never shows the complete structure or the whole reference, but develop through different interpretations. That would go unnoticed in their original context. I seem to be asking fundamental questions about our place in nature and nature’s place in us. The disputed boundary, between relationships, nature and culture. The possible seems true and the truth exists, but it has many faces.
