About
Nicolette is an artist inspired by people and individuality. She grew up in London and has lived and worked in New York and Stockholm, she currently resides in Sydney, Australia.
‘We live in a world over taken with ‘perfection’ and perception, masking what we should be celebrating – individualism’.
Nicolette’s work embraces simplicity, minimalism and expression, inspired by artists such as Egon Schieles, Rene Gruau, Mark Rothko and Milton Avery.
Education
Nicolette's has a foundation in Art & Design from Camberwell College, London but has background within fashion and textile design, undertaking her degree at Ravensbourne College London. Since graduating she has worked within the fashion Industry and explores her love for art and the human form.
Select Exhibitions/Awards
Nicolette has a varied skill set with awards within Fashion design from World-wide Urban Outfitters Competition & David Band Textile Award to Liberty London’s Best of British Design for her furniture exploration. She has since exhibited her Art at Saint Cloche Gallery, Sydney in 2019.
