Statement about AOAP Submitted Artworks

False memories, especially of holidays, have always fascinated me. Nothing in our lives except big milestones are documented as much as them. Photos, film and other people's narrative often distorts our own but what makes memories stick and why do they get so easily fragmented? In these works I play around with colour and paint to push and pull my own memories in the hope to trigger and evoke the viewers own.
