About
Lauren Godfrey (b. UK) is an artist based in London. Her work invites interaction and collaboration, often swerving close to furniture or the quasi-useful. In recent work, fountains and sundials – elemental clichés – meet post-modern silhouettes and pattern overload. There’s a suggested functionality and a whisper of a potential state shift, collaborating with surrounding elements and viewers alike. The work offers space to the viewer whether it be to take a meditative moment in the company of trickling water or an invitation to interact and respond.
