Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

Art is a continuum and a mirror of our society. In the tradition of art appropriation, I bring my own view to existing artworks, pay a tribute to their authors, and play with the concept of originality. My goals are to bring a new light on our collective imagery and to make the viewers ponder on our current society including the notion of fame, the place of women or the role of media. By painting the positive portrayal of women and girls in modern-day comic books like Pokemon, my ambition is to highlight and amplify an empowering narrative.

You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardise the charitable work we do.
