I graduated from Central Saint Martins in the 1980s and worked as an illustrator for 20 years. I began to paint for myself in 2007 and I have pursued this full time since 2010. My work is held in collections internationally and I exhibit regularly throughout the UK.
Central Saint Martins, London
I have taken part several times in major annual open exhibitions including The Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition, the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition and the Lynn Painter-Stainers Competition where in 2012 I won runner's up prize.

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
The delicate ephemeral fragility of a moth or feather, the shiny brilliance of little silver spoons - each containing the reflection of a world beyond the painting. Natural and man made; both have their own beauty. The paintings speak of small treasures we all hold; tangible fragments giving shape and meaning to our tangled memories and emotions.
