Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
These postcards are small working drawings similar to my larger work on canvas. I work from mediated images; art book photos of old master paintings by artists working in the seventeenth century; Velázquez and Rembrandt for example. I draw details from their sketches and paintings using charcoal then use oils combined with bright spray paint and punk-style graphics from my youth.
You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardise the charitable work we do.
