Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

“My most recent oil on linen narrative paintings which could be described as nonlinear bring mostly women together in non-hierarchical interior spaces. A multiple of sources partly inform and make their way into the paintings, including woman workers from the 20th Century, the personal, still life, the everyday and the imagined. These watercolours  are from my most recent series of oil paintings.”

Please do not bid on artwork in our Art on a Postcard auctions if you intend on selling the artwork after you have purchased it. This auction has been organised for charity; all artworks have been generously donated by the artists to raise money for charity. When a work is sold on the secondary market it damages our relationship with the artist and prevents us from fundraising.
