Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
These works stem from my ongoing series of works on paper 'Hand Inside'. I began the series in 2020, resulting from thinking about touch and connection with one's self. They have become an integral part of my practice since, allowing me to explore colour and form within different always changing configurations of hand in relation to body and clothing. The bow has become a key motif in my work in the last year so I wanted one of the works to include that, with the crossing thumbs echoing the crossing of fabric required to form a bow.
You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardise the charitable work we do.
PLEASE DO NOT BID ON ARTWORK IN OUR ART ON A POSTCARD AUCTIONS IF YOU INTEND ON SELLING THE ARTWORK AFTER YOU HAVE PURCHASED IT.
