Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

"Security Breach' depicts a shark's fin breaching the surface of the water, a symbol associated with danger, betraying the presence of an animal to be feared - and yet any subject becomes more vulnerable the moment its visible.

'Skip' follows the path of a skipping stone, stars rippling out as it skims the surface of the water. How tempting it is to skip to the good stuff."

Please do not bid on artwork in our Art on a Postcard auctions if you intend on selling the artwork after you have purchased it. This auction has been organised for charity; all artworks have been generously donated by the artists to raise money for charity. When a work is sold on the secondary market it damages our relationship with the artist and prevents us from fundraising.
