Photography on a Postcard Private View

On Thursday 12th October we had our Photography on a Postcard Private View. In the build up towards it, we were so overwhelmed by how much interest we received and want to thank all those to showed up, and apologies to those who could not make it in. Our waiting list was well over half the capacity. This is of course due to the huge range of diverse and high quality work we have on show at this unique exhibition of epic proportions. That, and the hard work of the team that put it together in particular Gemma Peppe and Kiera Burton.

The evening began with queues going up Kingsland High Street leading up to theprintspace, our good friends and hosts. Quickly the gallery was filled to the brim. Everyone was in such high spirits and the gallery was totally buzzing, helped by the constant flow of wine.

Spanning 5 walls, 6 shelves high, the postcards look phenomenal together. They really do complement each other, whether by contrast or connection. It's definitely worth going down to the print space to have a look at the exhibition which runs until the 25th of October.

Have a look through this gallery of photos and see if you can spot yourself.

And of course, the main reason for all of this, the Lottery Tickets were on sale and we were delighted with how keen everyone was to get their ticket. These pieces are so beautiful and such high-quality that £50 is a steal for a photography piece of this kind. If you haven't yet got yours, don't miss your chance to purchase work by one of the world's most prolific photographers, buy your ticket here now before they sell out. If you don't believe us, visit the gallery and you'll be sure to want one.
