About the Role
Art on a Postcard seeks a Social Media and Digital Marketing Lead to join our small, fast-paced team. As we are a small team, you will be expected to be flexible and assist with all aspects of office life.
Art on a Postcard raises funds for charity through art auctions and print sales. We collaborate with leading international contemporary artists, making this a fantastic opportunity to engage with the art and charitable sectors and be part of a creative team that makes a difference.
You will be responsible for strategising marketing campaigns for our print sales and products on our website and Amazon. This will include artist outreach, discussing content creation, and placing adverts. You will also be responsible for our social media campaigns leading up to our auctions, which will involve a lot of artist liaison.
Responsibilities
General Tasks
- Create and upload content and images for the organisation's website.
- Write and send email marketing campaigns.
- Provide accurate reports and analyses back to the team.
- Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business, including social media, the development of blogs, and video.
- Design website banners and assist with web visuals.
- Conduct keyword research and report on web statistics.
- Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns.
- Create paid media content.
- Develop and integrate content marketing strategies.
- Stay current with digital trends.
- Manage the contact database and instigate lead-generation activities.
Administration
- Stock checks
- Cataloguing artwork
- Artist liaison
Collaboration and Reporting
You will work closely with the team, including our part-time administrative assistant and auction and operations lead, reporting to the founder and director. You will assist in setting up and attending our private viewings, but you will receive time off thereafter in lieu.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential Skills
- Shopify or similar
- Adobe Suite – Photoshop & InDesign
- Google Analytics
- Social Media experience
- Facebook Business – ads
- Experience of GTM
Preferred Experience
- Arts degree
- Arts MA (not essential)
- 1-3 years in a comparable marketing role in an Arts office
- An interest in contemporary art and knowledge of the London Art Scene
