Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

'Lines of Flight', '23rd February', 'Lamont' and 'The Echo' reflect upon exile and displacement, two central themes of Milton's 'Paradise Lost'. Each postcard has been made using a 35mm camera and provides snapshots of moments both staged and chanced upon. The images are intended to evoke the dream-like and surreal elements of Milton's epic poetry.
