Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
I have been making abstract paintings with multi coloured small squares since the late 1990s. Initially they looked like wonky patterns and were on a monumental scale. My paintings now are very modest in size and have become gestural and abstract. This postcard is part of a recent group of works where the paintings are abstract still lives - they are abstract paintings that look like still lives.
