Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
Better to serve In heaven than rule in hell.
I didn’t get far reading paradise lost, I think at the point of making these works I’d read about a page of it. Somehow things like that seem to sit in my mind for years and I kind of come up with my own idea of what things are, and then the the blanket falls away somehow when you’re actually confronted with the real thing.
I read a bit of the book though and. “Better to rule in hell than serve in Heaven” really struck me. I’m sure there’s plenty more to come if I ever get round to finishing it.
