Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
Currently, I am interested in the concept of the outfit. An outfit is a set of clothes assembled for a specific occasion or activity—an ensemble, a coordinated costume. It is about fitting: to be proper, to be suitable. To fit: to take the right shape. My outfits are worn by ghosts—perhaps non-existent, disembodied beings. I am intrigued by how these clothes transform into figures themselves, existing without the need for a supporting body.
